WVU Scrimmage INTEL: The 1st Team Has EMERGED -- And There Are Some HUGE Surprises

WVU’s first-team units are beginning to take shape — and Saturday’s scrimmage gave us our clearest look yet at where Rich Rodriguez’s depth chart stands. In today’s episode of Locked On West Virginia, we’re diving into all of the scrimmage intel and laying out the Mountaineers’ *1’s, 2’s AND 3’s* across the roster. Who has emerged as a starter? Which position battles are still alive? Who made a surprising jump up the depth chart? And which young Mountaineers are already forcing their way into the conversation? We go position-by-position through the offense and defense, break down the biggest surprises, and discuss what all of this could mean as WVU gets closer to kicking off the 2026 season. The depth chart isn’t official yet — but after this scrimmage, we may have a VERY good idea who Rich Rod plans to roll with. *WVU SCRIMMAGE INTEL IS HERE.*
