WVU Football Has an ALL-AMERICAN + Basketball Could Land Canada’s Rising STAR?!

West Virginia is making noise in BOTH football and basketball. WVU running back *Cam Cook* has added even more national recognition, earning *AP Preseason Second-Team All-American honors* after leading the FBS with 1,659 rushing yards last season. With Walter Camp All-American honors, Preseason All-Big 12 recognition and a spot on the Maxwell Award watch list already on his résumé, the expectations for Cook in Morgantown are getting MASSIVE. Can he live up to them — or even surpass them? Then we turn to Ross Hodge and WVU basketball, where the Mountaineers have made the **final six for fast-rising 2027 point guard Javion Tyndale**. Tyndale has skyrocketed up the national rankings after a monster summer that included leading Canada to its **first-ever U18 AmeriCup gold medal and winning tournament MVP**. And WVU may have some REAL advantages in this recruitment: the Mountaineers offered early, Hodge's system could fit an undersized playmaking guard, and Tyndale is the cousin of current WVU guard **Miles Sadler**. One star is already in Morgantown. Could another one eventually be on his way? *WVU football has an All-American candidate, WVU basketball is chasing one of Canada's fastest-rising stars, and the momentum in Morgantown keeps building.*
