UPDATE- RichRod’s Two Most EXPLOSIVE WVU Commits Are BLOWING UP!
Rich Rodriguez may have found two future cornerstones of West Virginia football—and both WVU commits are putting everyone on notice. 2027 linebacker Broncs Baker has reportedly recorded 18 tackles in back-to-back games and looks more explosive, physical and disruptive than ever. Baker isn’t simply collecting tackles, either. He is attacking downhill, creating plays behind the line of scrimmage and showing the relentless mentality that fits Rich Rodriguez’s “Hard Edge” culture perfectly. Then there is Gulf Shores wide receiver Carter “President” Davis, one of the most remarkable athletes in WVU’s 2027 recruiting class. Davis owns a reported 47-inch vertical and won Alabama’s indoor 60-meter state championship with a blazing 6.76-second performance. He also produced 45 receptions for 715 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior while adding 118 rushing yards and four more scores. One gives WVU a potential defensive enforcer. The other gives the Mountaineers an explosive offensive weapon capable of changing a game with a single touch. In this episode, Mountaineer Paul delivers the Full Mestemaker breakdown on Carter Davis and Broncs Baker—including their measurements, production, recruitment, athletic traits, film strengths, areas for development, fit within WVU’s system and what their emergence could mean for the future of Mountaineer football. Did Rich Rodriguez land two future WVU superstars before the rest of college football realized just how special they were?
