NOT TRUE—People Are Running With a False RichRod “Outburst” Narrative

Did Rich Rodriguez really snap at questions about WVU’s loss to Oklahoma State? An article portrayed his Monday radio show remarks as a coach growing tired of answering for the 41–24 defeat. I heard the exchange with Tony Caridi differently: Rich sounded fed up with the game, and the “tolerating questions” line sounded like he was kidding with Tony. In this episode, I go through what the article said, explain why I think the angry “outburst” narrative misses his tone, and talk about the questions WVU’s defense still has to answer after giving up 609 yards. You can defend Rich from a misleading characterization and still expect this staff to fix what happened on the field.
