DEAD LAST! The Most RIDICULOUS Big 12 Ranking Yet by CBS!

#WVU #WestVirginia #Mountaineers CBS Sports just released its 2026 Big 12 power rankings — and somehow landed on West Virginia DEAD LAST. Now, technically, Iowa State Cyclones is ranked last… but after losing essentially an entire roster, they don’t even count right now. (That’s a rebuild from scratch.) So for all practical purposes? CBS Sports is calling West Virginia Mountaineers the worst team in the Big 12. That’s not cautious. That’s lazy. In this episode, we go FULL MESTEMAKER and tear this ranking apart with actual roster context. We explain why WVU being ranked behind teams like Kansas Jayhawks, Cincinnati Bearcats, Colorado Buffaloes, Baylor Bears, and UCF Knights makes absolutely no sense when you actually compare: • Quarterback ceilings • Portal additions vs portal losses • Offensive and defensive line investment • Coaching trajectory entering Year 2 • Roster upside vs brand-name bias This isn’t blind optimism. It’s basic logic. If West Virginia finishes DEAD LAST, we’ll own it. But ranking them there before spring football — while excusing chaos everywhere else — tells you this list was built on assumptions, not analysis. Disrespect ages poorly. Receipts don’t. 🏷️ Primary #WVU #WestVirginia #Mountaineers #Big12 #Big12Football Rankings / Debate #PowerRankings #CollegeFootball #CFB #CFBDebate #CFBDisrespect Portal / Roster #TransferPortal #PortalEra #CollegeFootballNews #RosterBreakdown Reaction / Media #CBSSports #CollegeFootballTalk #CFBMedia #FootballAnalysi
