CAMP UPDATE - Rich Rod Says Epps THE LEADER Of WR's! | Sieg To play WR?

West Virginia football is starting to take shape — and Rich Rodriguez just gave us a TON to talk about. RichRod says WVU is further along than it was last year, Matt Sieg has a “great future” in Morgantown, Andrew Powdrell is headed for an “outstanding year,” and Kamari Wilson looks like a major addition to the secondary. We also learned exactly why WVU rebuilt its cornerback room with more size and length after getting physically beaten at the catch point last season, why Saturday’s scrimmage could be huge for several position battles, and why DJ Epps appears to be emerging as the leader of the slot receiver group. PLUS — Mike Hawkins Jr. and Scotty Fox may or may not go live during the scrimmage, Rich explains what he needs to see before deciding who WVU can actually “win with,” and the Mountaineers already have a plan in place if the fifth-year eligibility situation opens the door for additional players. There is a LOT happening in Morgantown right now — and Year 2 under Rich Rodriguez is beginning to look very different.
