ANOTHER TRANSFER! West Virginia gets a BIG HITTER in Kam Reddic!

#WVU #WestVirginia #Mountaineers West Virginia continues to attack roster needs through the transfer portal, landing Stephen F. Austin safety Kameron Reddic — a versatile, experienced backend defender with two years of eligibility remaining. Reddic brings 21 games of college experience, including 13 starts in 2025, where he played over 540 defensive snaps and graded out as a high-level run defender (76.1 PFF). The Houston native has shown the ability to play free safety, box safety, and slot, filling one of WVU’s biggest remaining roster holes after significant production losses in the secondary. With West Virginia returning limited experience at safety, this addition gives the Mountaineers an immediate contributor who fits exactly what the staff has been targeting: experience, versatility, and proven production. We break down: Why Reddic was such a priority portal target How he fits WVU’s defensive needs right now What his versatility means for the future of the secondary Why this may close the book on safety additions (for now) 🔵🟡 Let’s talk portal impact and what’s next for the Mountaineers. 🔑 Hashtags #WVU #WestVirginia #Mountaineers #TransferPortal #PortalSeason #PortalHaul #WVUFootball #CollegeFootball #Big12 #CFB #LockedOnWVU #LOVWU
