ALERT-Is Zac Alley FAILING WVU—or Has WVU FAILED Zac Alley?

Is Zac Alley FAILING WVU—or Has WVU FAILED Zac Alley? Oklahoma State put up 609 yards in a 41–24 win in Morgantown, and WVU’s defense had no answer when the game was on the line. Zac Alley came to West Virginia with a strong track record, but his defense hasn’t worked here yet. Why? On this Sunday Outlook, Mountaineer Paul looks at all three sides of the blame: Alley’s game plan and adjustments, Rich Rodriguez’s responsibility for building the roster, and the players’ execution on the field. Alley deserves tough questions after Saturday night. He also deserves an honest look at the tools he’s been given since arriving in Morgantown. So who needs to own this loss—and what has to change before WVU heads to Iowa State? Tell me where you put the blame in the comments.
