Detroit Tigers face tough questions as Colt Keith’s future grows murky. Once a top prospect, Keith struggles to hit major league fastballs and has lost his everyday lineup spot, while the team weighs whether his team-friendly contract and former promise are enough to keep him or if a trade makes more sense. Can he regain his form and carve out a place in the Tigers’ crowded infield, or is his role now limited to a platoon DH without the slugging upside Detroit hoped for?

Host Scott Bentley also spotlights Andrew Sears’ rapid rise from Double-A to MLB despite shaky stats, examining whether the lefty’s unique arm slot and fastball velocity warrant continued development as a starter or a future move to the bullpen. With roster flexibility and infield depth at play, the Tigers’ offseason may hinge on pivotal decisions about Keith, Sears, and their shifting youth movement.
