Steelers' Justin Fields Closes Gap in QB Battle w/Russell Wilson | Van Jefferson Pushes for WR2 Role

Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast. The Pittsburgh Steelers are still waiting for Russell Wilson to be back to full strength, but in the meantime, Justin Fields has impressed. Fields' work in training camp has closed the gap between the two quarterbacks, and Christopher Carter explains how that's happened and what to expect next as the Steelers continue to work out the two quarterbacks. Also, Chris explains why Van Jefferson looks like a solid option at WR2 behind George Pickens and shows his interview of Jefferson. Jefferson explains a new workout he's begun that was inspired by Antonio Brown and how it's helping him improve. Finally, Chris also goes over how Beanie Bishop has solidified his spot as slot cornerback in the defense until otherwise, and how the secondary is forming as a whole around Minkah Fitzpatrick.
