BREAKING: Dallas Stars Ship Off Matt Dumba to Penguins! What's next for the Stars?

On today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey Erickson breaks down the Dallas Stars trade of Matt Dumba and a 2028 2nd Round pick to the Pittsburg Penguins this afternoon. In the first segment, Joey tells you why the Stars had to make this move and why it was important despite having to give up a little more than they would have liked. Joey also explains why these contracts are so important and the addition of Radek Faksa has kept the Stars from making more impactful moves. Today's show also features analysis of Vladislav Kolyachonok who was acquired from the Penguins and more than likely will be in the AHL next season. To finish the show Joey discusses the hiring of Toby Peterson as the next Head Coach of the Texas Stars and Antonio Stranges being re-signed by Dallas.
