NOT READY: Oklahoma Sooners offense BOTTOMS out, defense COLLAPSES | CHANGES incoming?

Oklahoma Sooners suffer a crushing 42-25 loss to South Carolina, raising tough questions about Brent Venables' leadership and the future of the program. The coaching staff’s indecision at quarterback and offensive coordinator has left fans frustrated, as John Mateer continues to struggle and missed tackles on defense reach an alarming 25%. Are major changes on the horizon, or will Oklahoma risk further stagnation in the SEC?

The discussion explores the collapse of home field advantage at Oklahoma, the ongoing decline of the offense under Ben Arbuckle, and speculation about upcoming staff overhauls. Key topics include LaNorris Sellers’ breakout performance, the defense’s breaking point, and the possible need to refresh the quarterback room for 2027. With mounting pressure on Venables and a demanding fan base, can the Sooners reclaim their standard, or is a long rebuild ahead?
