POUNCE: San Jose Sharks LOOK to TOP Senators – Celebrini and Stutzle Spotlighted

San Jose Sharks look to capitalize on a fatigued Ottawa Senators squad as they aim for back-to-back victories. With the Sens reeling from an emotional clash and missing Alex Wennberg, can San Jose seize this golden opportunity? Key matchups feature top scorers Macklin Celebrini and Tim Stützle, while projected lines see Collin Graf stepping into a crucial 3C role amid lineup shifts. The conversation focused on Ottawa’s defensive prowess, Linus Ullmark’s strong goaltending, and how the Sharks’ surging power play—ranked 8th in the NHL—might exploit the Sens’ struggling special teams. A key theme that emerged was San Jose’s need for a fast start, with eyes on the Graf, Marchment, and Toffoli line to set the tone and Stenberg’s chance for a breakout performance. The discussion explored whether early pressure could turn a “scheduled loss” for Ottawa into the Sharks’ first regulation win of the season.
