Saints' Kellen Moore Is Already Running Out Of Time

Kellen Moore has lost the benefit of the doubt after the New Orleans Saints fell to 1-4 with a 23-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. New Orleans continues to suffer from slow starts, poor preparation, offensive predictability, and a process that has produced only one first-quarter lead during Moore’s tenure. At this point, the team's consistent and repeated issues point to one constant: coaching.

Tyler Shough and Chris Olave continue to bring value along with other talented players, but the Saints offense has averaged only 18 points per game after defensive scoring since the beginning of 2025. The defense also struggled against Aaron Jones, Kyler Murray, and Justin Jefferson, while Chase Young, Carl Granderson, and Jonas Sanker made impact plays that still couldn’t prevent another double-digit defeat.
