New Orleans Saints, Aaron Glenn Head Coach Stock Drop After Disappoint Detroit Lions Loss

The New Orleans Saints will still view Aaron Glenn highly in their head coaching search, but for fans, the stock drop was evident. After a disappointing Detroit Lions divisional round playoff loss to Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders, the Saints' assumed top target may have become less desirable for Saints fans, but one game is unlikely to impact his actual outlook with the Saints or other NFL teams desperate to hire their next head coach. While Glenn's stock might have dropped, Kliff Kingsbury's stock is on the rise. After choosing to put his players and coaching staff before himself, withdrawing from head coach interviews until the Commanders are no longer in the playoffs, Kingsbury made one of the biggest power moves of this year's coaching cycle. And with a 45-point output against Detroit with Jayden Daniels, things only got better for the former Arizona Cardinals head coach. Up next, Kellen Moore and the Eagles and Buffalo Bills OC Joe Brady are the ones to watch.
