Should the Detroit Red Wings attempt to trade for RFA JJ Peterka?

According to Frank Seravelli, JJ Peterka may want out of Buffalo. The 23 year old left wing is coming off a career high 68 points and is in need of a new contract. As an RFA, the Sabres hold the cards. Should Detroit make a play for this offensively gifted winger to fix their top six? Or should the beware the sticker price and his poor defensive metrics? #LGRW
