Justin Holl waived, Marco Kasper sent to AHL | Detroit Red Wings drop final 2 preaseason games

The Detroit Red Wings on Sunday trimmed their roster to 28 players. The most notable moves were waiving D Justin Holl, and sending preseason standout Marco Kasper to the AHL. Was this just a paper move? Or is this a sign Austin Watson earned himself a roster spot? Detroit also dropped their final two preseason games, blowing leads to Ottawa and Toronto. #LGRW
