Is Jared McCann available? Detroit should kick the tires, but why would Seattle be open to moving him?

Jared McCann is 29 years old with 2 years remaining on a very reasonable $5M AAV deal. He plays PP1, PK1 and is their best forward. The question is not, 'should the Detroit Red Wings pursue Jared McCann', because yes, they should. It's more about 'Why are the Seattle Kraken listening to offers on him'? #LGRW
