Winners and Losers from the Carolina Panthers 2026 Draft: Which Returning Players Have the Best and Worst Outlooks Post-Draft?

Carolina Panthers shake up their roster outlook following the 2026 NFL Draft. Is Monroe Freeling poised to unseat Rasheed Walker at left tackle, or will Walker fight to retain his spot? Julian Council highlights which Panthers are clear winners—including Chuba Hubbard, Jonathon Brooks, and the entire running back room—thanks to the front office’s strategic decisions and minimal competition added at key positions.

Key discussion points include the future of the tight end corps, new pressure on offensive linemen Rasheed Walker and Luke Fortner, and what the addition of Chris Brazzell means for Xavier Legette’s role among the wide receivers. Julian Council also examines lingering roster needs at offensive guard and cornerback, the impact of Lee Hunter’s arrival for Turk Wharton and Bobby Brown III, and what Jonathan Brooks’ OTAs clearance signals for Carolina’s backfield. Can the Panthers patch remaining holes before the season kicks off?
