REDEMPTION: Can J.T. Sanders and the Carolina Panthers Tight Ends Finally PRODUCE in 2026?

Carolina Panthers fans have waited years for a true breakout at tight end. Will this finally be the year the Panthers climb out of the NFL’s basement in tight end production? Julian Council spotlights J.T. Sanders’ potential leap, analyzes Tommy Tremble’s steady but limited role, and raises pressing questions about Mitchell Evans as the X factor in a revamped tight end room.

The conversation examines Carolina’s post-Greg Olsen struggles, highlights how injuries and coaching changes have shaped the position, and assesses the likelihood of keeping five tight ends on the 53-man roster. Key topics include Dave Canales’ impact as play-caller, how Panthers tight ends stack up statistically across the league, and what to expect from returning and new faces such as Feleipe Franks and James Mitchell. Will this group finally spark a new era for the Panthers’ passing attack?
