PROVE IT: Can Jonathon Brooks and Chuba Hubbard BOUNCE BACK for the Carolina Panthers in 2026?

The Carolina Panthers double down on their core running backs, but will Dan Morgan’s gamble pay off? Jonathon Brooks returns from back-to-back ACL injuries and draws rave reviews from coach Dave Canales, yet questions remain: Can Brooks finally deliver as the RB1, or will lingering health issues hold him back? Chuba Hubbard aims to bounce back after his worst season in Carolina, while Trevor Etienne fights for a larger offensive role after a rookie year spent mostly on special teams.

Julian Council breaks down positional battles in the Panthers’ running back room, analyzing stats, contract decisions, and key storylines for 2026. The discussion spotlights the team’s faith in Brooks, Hubbard’s dip in explosiveness, and A.J. Dillon’s chances of making the 53-man roster. Listeners gain insight into how roster decisions reflect broader strategy and whether the Panthers’ current RB group can power a turnaround in the NFC South.
