CONFIDENCE: Carolina Panthers Cornerback Duo and Derrick Brown LEAD Strongest Units for 2026

The Carolina Panthers position groups take center focus as Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson headline the cornerback room. Can rising stars like Derrick Brown and Jaelan Phillips power Carolina’s defense, while Rasheed Walker fortifies the offensive tackle group? Julian Council spotlights emerging threats, including second-year wideout Tetairoa McMillan and the revamped safety unit, while questioning if Bryce Young will finally deliver a consistent campaign under center.

Position groups like running back, linebacker, and wide receiver still have something to prove, with uncertainty swirling around Chuba Hubbard’s regression, Jonathan Brooks’ health, and Jalen Coker’s durability. The discussion turns critical with concerns over Carolina’s tight ends and interior offensive line depth—will Rob Hunt and Damien Lewis stay healthy enough to stabilize the trenches? Get the full breakdown of each unit’s outlook, projected impact players, and the biggest question marks as the Panthers gear up for a pivotal 2026 season.
