ORIOLES POSTCAST: Baltimore Orioles SMOKE Tampa Bay Rays 10-2, Take Series & Win 3rd Straight!

The Baltimore Orioles just delivered their best all-around performance of the season. Luke Slabaugh reacts to the Orioles’ 10-2 demolition of the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg, as Baltimore takes the series against the American League’s top team and wins its third straight game. The O’s have now won six consecutive games against Tampa Bay, their first three-game winning streak since July, and moved to just two games below .500. After Freddy Peralta held Baltimore quiet early, the Orioles erupted with two-out damage. Jackson Holliday tied it with a clutch RBI single in his first game hitting leadoff this season, Pete Alonso ripped a go-ahead two-run double, and the bats never stopped. Colton Cowser launched a two-run homer, Holliday added a two-run double, and Christian Encarnacion-Strand cleared the bases with a three-run double in a huge 10-run outburst. Trevor Rogers set the tone on the mound with six innings of two-run ball, six strikeouts, one walk, and 73 strikes on 98 pitches. Outside of Ryan Vilade’s big day, Rogers attacked the Rays and controlled the game. Baltimore is suddenly right in the AL Wild Card race.
