Orioles News & Notes: Freddy Peralta, Hans Crouse, Jorge Mateo

Another top starting pitching target is off the board, as the Milwaukee Brewers have traded Freddy Peralta to the New York Mets. Host Connor Newcomb discusses what the Baltimore Orioles would have had to do to get Peralta, and why they should now be the favorites for Framber Valdez.

Then, Connor gives you the scouting report on RHP Hans Crouse, whom the Orioles signed to a minor league deal. Finally, Connor runs though some other news and notes, including the new Baseball America prospect list, Jorge Mateo signing with the Atlanta Braves, and some interesting research at Fangraphs.
