CRITICAL: Ole Miss SURVIVES South Carolina Trap Game | Lane Kiffin's PLAYOFF Dreams Hang in Balance

Welcome to the Locked on Ole Miss podcast, your daily source for all things Ole Miss Rebels football! Join host Steven Willis and Ole Miss legend Bill Flowers as we break down the latest news and insights on the Rebels. In today's episode: 🏈 Maturity on Display - The Rebels dominated South Carolina by 30 points, proving they've learned to handle expectations after big wins. Keon Lacey's emergence as a reliable running back gives this team the dimension last year's squad desperately lacked. Bill Flowers makes it clear: "We were one running back away from making the playoffs" in 2024. 🛡️ Pete Golding's Defensive Masterclass - South Carolina's Lenore Sellers got exposed with six sacks. We analyze Golding's strategy of rushing just two players with "Johnny Manziel two spies" that neutralized the athletic quarterback. ⚔️ Citadel Game Strategy - Should Austin Simmons get more playing time? We debate Trinidad Chambliss's inconsistency versus his game management skills, and whether playing The Citadel is better than a bye week before Florida. 💰 The $13.5 Million Question - Should Ole Miss pay Lane Kiffin $13.5 million if he misses the playoffs again? Bill Flowers drops stunning statistics: Kiffin hadn't beaten a ranked SEC team on the road in six years before Oklahoma. Does he deserve the raise without a playoff appearance? 🔥 Florida and Egg Bowl Warnings - Nothing's guaranteed down the stretch. As Bill Flowers warns, "nothing more dangerous than a five win team in the egg bowl." Can Lane Kiffin prove his worth when it matters most?
