101 Freaks in College Football, and Ole Miss Landed Just One

Bruce Feldman's 2026 Freaks List at The Athletic ran 101 names. Ole Miss landed one: wide receiver Deuce Alexander at No. 49. Nyck Harbor of South Carolina topped the list for the third time in four years, and the SEC accounted for 22 of the inclusions. Alexander is 6-0, 180, a senior from Douglasville, Georgia by way of Wake Forest, and a former 200- and 400-meter high school track athlete. He has been clocked at over 23 mph on GPS — the fastest player on the Ole Miss roster.
