Vegas Golden Knights: Don't Look BACK

The Vegas Golden Knights have never been a franchise looking at what's behind them. They're looking ahead with a new coach, but with the same expectations. Even with the departure of the talented Pavel Dorofeyev, the Knights believe they're still a contender, particularly in a weak Pacific Division. They'll have some competition, potentially, from Edmonton. Plus a surging Sharks team could be noteworthy, but the Pacific Division arguably has three of the four worst teams in hockey, making it ripe for Vegas to use the season to figure things out in preparation for what they hope will be a deep playoff run in 2027.
