The Minnesota Vikings brought in Kyler Murray this offseason and most people assumed Murray would take the starter role at quarterback. Everything coming out of Minnesota though indicates it will be a true competition. That is good in some ways, but getting your best quarterback as ready as possible is a better path. The Los Angeles Chargers are hoping to take the next step this season and a solid offseason has them charged up and ready to go, but in a tough AFC, they will need everything to break right. Finally, the Las Vegas Raiders are indicating they truly plan to leave the top pick in the draft, Fernando Mendoza, on the bench all year and leaving your best QB on the bench to prove a point seems like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
