FOOTBALL IS BACK: Arizona Cardinals SEASON IS OVER & Atlanta Falcons WORST CASE SCENARIO Plays Out

The first NFL game of the season kicks off today as the Hall of Fame game features the Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers. It feels like the season is already over in Arizona despite having enough talent to be competitive. It didn't need to be this way. The Panthers have dealt with major injuries already, but have the depth to make sure they can remain competitive. Staying in the south, the Atlanta Falcons are also dealing with an injury bug, but it is enough to ruin their season in August. Similarly, the San Francisco 49ers can't seem to avoid the injury concerns and at some point they won't be able to withstand anymore. Finally, money moves are being made in the NFC North as the Chicago Bears extended Darnell Wright and the Detroit Lions look to extend Jahmyr Gibbs.
