Zvonimir Ivišić Scouting Report: Is Big Z the Best Returning NBA Prospect in College Basketball?

On this episode of the Locked On NBA Big Board podcast, hosts Rafael and James Barlowe dive into the game of Croatian 7-foot-2 sensation Zvonimir Ivišić. After an eye-catching debut at Kentucky, "Big Z" transferred to Arkansas to follow John Calipari, bringing with him one of the most unique skill sets of any big man in college basketball. The hosts analyze Ivišić's rare combination of size, mobility, and shooting touch, comparing his offensive versatility to a scaled down version of Kristaps Porziņģis, while also discussing his potential as an elite rim protector. They also explore his recent transfer to Arkansas, what that means for his development, and how his unique skill set projects at the NBA level. The Barlowe brothers debate whether Ivišić should be considered the top returning big man NBA prospect and Rafael raises the question of whether Ivišić is being overshadowed by the highly touted freshman class, despite his clear NBA potential and seamless fit as a modern stretch-five. Tune in as they analyze his strengths, weaknesses, and how he stacks up in the draft conversation. NBA Draft analyst Rafael Barlowe from NBA Draft Junkies and current author of the NBA Big Board newsletter is joined by Richard Stayman (@MavsDraft), James Barlowe, and Leif Thulin to breakdown the NBA Draft.
