Wrapping Up the 2026 Recruiting Class With Eric Thomas: Top 5 Finish Potential, Strengths/Weaknesses, Impact Players, and More!

Notre Dame football’s 2026 recruiting class is sitting at 27 verbal commitments and ranked No. 3 nationally. Now, the challenge shifts from adding new players to keeping the class intact through Signing Day. Tyler Wojciak is joined by recruiting analyst Eric Thomas from Irish Illustrated to break down whether the Irish are done adding pieces, how realistic a top-5 finish is, the biggest strengths and weaknesses in the class, and which under-the-radar commits could be future stars. Plus, Eric provides insight into why the official visits in June were so successful and how Marcus Freeman’s staff approached this class differently than in past cycles.
