Wisconsin Insider Preview with Nick Osen From Badger247

Wisconsin enters its season opener against Notre Dame with pressure on Luke Fickell, a rebuilt roster, dual-threat quarterback Colton Joseph and major questions surrounding an offense trying to take a significant step forward in 2026. Locked On Irish host Tyler Wojciak is joined by Badger247’s Nick Osen to discuss the state of Wisconsin football coming out of fall camp, Fickell’s future and what playing Notre Dame at Lambeau Field means for the Badgers before breaking down Joseph, Wisconsin’s offensive line, its unproven receiving corps and what the offense must accomplish against the Notre Dame defense. They then flip to Wisconsin’s defense, including Mason Posa, Cooper Catalano, potential schematic changes, how the Badgers can challenge CJ Carr and the Notre Dame offense, and Nick’s prediction for Sunday night.
