Marcus Freeman took Notre Dame to the national title game last year, and expectations are even higher heading into 2025. Tyler Wojciak is joined by the Owner & Publisher of Irish Illustrated, Tim Prister, for Part One of their two-part conversation ahead of Notre Dame’s 2025 season. They discuss the current state of the program, expectations for Marcus Freeman in Year Four, the quarterback battle between Kenny Minchey and CJ Carr, what makes Jeremiyah Love an all-time great and Eli Raridon so intriguing, and how new defensive coordinator Chris Ash can maintain the standard set by Al Golden. They also evaluate Pete Bevacqua’s first year as athletic director and what needs to happen for Notre Dame to take the next step. Part Two drops tomorrow with stories from Tim’s 44 years covering the Irish.
