Purdue Mailbag! Notre Dame’s Uneven Run Game, Play-Calling Questions, Peacock Game, and More

Locked On Irish host Tyler Wojciak answers Notre Dame fans’ biggest questions ahead of Saturday’s matchup with Purdue in the Friday Mailbag. He starts by ranking the Fighting Irish running back rooms of the past decade, examining what has gone wrong along the offensive line, discussing Aneyas Williams’ slow start and laying out what Notre Dame’s rushing attack needs to show against Purdue. Then, Tyler dives into Mike Denbrock’s play-calling, the lack of play-action, Notre Dame’s quiet tight ends and which players the coaching staff may be telling everyone to watch next. Finally, he explains Notre Dame’s relationship with Peacock, weighs in on putting names permanently on the backs of the Irish jerseys and picks the best inanimate object mascot in college football.
