Notre Dame-Wisconsin Pregame Show: 5 Things to Watch & Farewell to the Offseason

Notre Dame football is finally back, and five key storylines surrounding CJ Carr, the Fighting Irish offensive line, wide receivers and defense will be worth watching when Notre Dame faces Wisconsin at Lambeau Field in the 2026 season opener. Locked On Irish host Tyler Wojciak begins with the offensive line and the uncertainty at right guard before breaking down how Carr handles a defense designed to limit the deep ball, Christian Gray’s first game at nickel, whether Armel Mukam can validate his breakout offseason and whether Jordan Faison, Jaden Greathouse, Mylan Graham and Micah Gilbert are ready to emerge as difference-makers in the passing game. Then, after 273 days of waiting since Notre Dame was left out of the College Football Playoff, Tyler puts a bow on the longest offseason in program history and gets ready for kickoff against the Badgers.
