Notre Dame-Purdue Pregame Show: Five Things To Watch & Final Thoughts Before Kickoff

Tyler Wojciak, host of Locked On Irish, gets Notre Dame fans ready for GAMEDAY as the No. 3 Fighting Irish travel to West Lafayette to take on Purdue. Tyler starts with his five biggest things to watch, including whether Notre Dame’s running game finally breaks through, potential breakout performances from Joey O’Brien, Rodney Dunham and Jonaz Walton, the Irish secondary’s first legitimate test, and an opportunity for CJ Carr to put up the kind of numbers that command national attention. He also looks at whether another strange chapter of the Notre Dame-Purdue rivalry could be coming or if the Irish are headed for another decisive win. Then, Tyler closes the pregame show by stepping back from the week-to-week concerns and explaining why Notre Dame’s 3-0 start is only the beginning of a long season — and why recent College Football Playoff contenders are proof that championship-caliber teams rarely look finished in September.
