Michigan State Mailbag! Weather Impact WR & RB Expectations, Nebraska Series, and Most Hated Rivals

Locked On Irish host Tyler Wojciak answers Notre Dame football fan questions ahead of Saturday night’s matchup with Michigan State. He starts with the latest weather forecast for Notre Dame Stadium and how heavy rain could impact CJ Carr and the passing game, before breaking down Micah Gilbert’s opportunity at wide receiver, the linebacker rotation with Drayk Bowen, Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa and Jaiden Ausberry, and a Notre Dame defender poised for a big game. Then, Tyler discusses the pressure on Aneyas Williams, whether Nolan James Jr. could eventually challenge him for the starting running back job, Jonaz Walton’s potential on kickoff returns, what the offensive line still needs to prove and why he loves the newly announced Notre Dame-Nebraska series. Finally, he ranks Michigan State among Notre Dame’s biggest rivals, explains why expectations should remain low for Quincy Porter this season and puts the early concerns surrounding the Fighting Irish into perspective before Notre Dame takes on the Spartans.
