IRISH SQUAD SHOW: CFP Rankings Reaction

Notre Dame’s playoff hopes are on the line heading into conference championship weekend, and the Irish Squad Show is here to break down every angle. Allison Hayes, Reggie Brooks, Allen Pinkett, and Locked On Irish host Tyler Wojciak react to the latest CFP Rankings, outline the scenarios for Notre Dame to make — or miss — the College Football Playoff, and examine potential first-round matchups for the Irish. The crew also looks ahead to the biggest games this weekend that could shift Notre Dame’s position. Plus, they dive into the growing scheduling controversy sparked by Alabama’s slate and whether the current CFP model unintentionally rewards teams that avoid tough opponents. Finally, the panel debates Jeremiyah Love’s Heisman chances after the Stanford win, whether Wilfredo Aybar’s hit was dirty, and who should win the Heisman if it’s not Love. The show closes with predictions for national award races featuring Irish stars like Jeremiyah Love, Leonard Moore, and Jadarian Price.
