CROSSOVER THURSDAY | Dolphins Seek To Break Out The Brooms & Finish A 2025 Sweep Of The Jets

New York Jets and Miami Dolphins show signs of life in a heated AFC East showdown. Can AD Mitchell’s breakout performance and Breece Hall’s explosive running game power the Jets past Jalen Waddle, De'Von Achane, and a surging Dolphins squad under Mike McDaniel? The stakes are high for both teams, as Miami eyes a playoff push and the Jets invest valuable snaps in future cornerstones. John Butchko and Kyle Crabbs break down the biggest matchups at MetLife Stadium, from Will McDonald’s pass rush against Miami’s shaky offensive line to Mason Taylor’s impact in the passing attack. Key storylines include changes on both rosters—post-Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner trades for the Jets, and a new chapter in Dolphins leadership after moving on from Chris Grier. Special teams, explosive plays, and the emergence of young talent take center stage as both franchises fight to redefine their seasons.
