WRONG: Rocco Becht and Avery Johnson UNDERRATED Ahead of Farmageddon Matchup, 16 Team Playoff

Rocco Becht enters the season with the potential to be one of the Big 12's standout quarterbacks. While some may consider him underrated, several factors point to a season where he exceeds expectations. One reason for any perceived undervaluation could be the departure of key receivers like Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins. These losses undoubtedly present a challenge, as they were significant contributors to the passing game. However, Becht has demonstrated an ability to elevate the play of those around him, and new targets will emerge. Becht's proven ability to perform in crucial moments should not be overlooked. He has shown a knack for leading game-winning drives and making key plays when the pressure is highest. This clutch factor is a valuable asset that can significantly impact a team's success. Furthermore, Becht's dual-threat capabilities add another dimension to Iowa State's offense. His running ability forces defenses to account for his legs, opening up opportunities in the passing game and making him a more dynamic and difficult quarterback to defend. Finally, a more healthy Iowa State team overall will benefit Becht. A stronger supporting cast, both offensively and defensively, will alleviate some of the pressure on him and allow him to operate more effectively. With a healthy team and his demonstrated skills, Becht is poised to have a very successful season.
