BOLD: Iowa State The REASON Rocco Becht Not Considered NFL Ready? ESPN Disrespecting ISU Quarterback

Rocco Becht's journey to the NFL is poised to defy the narratives that often plague quarterbacks from "run-first" programs like Iowa State. While some pundits might suggest the Cyclones' traditional offensive schemes could hinder his professional development, this perspective overlooks Becht's inherent talent and the evolving landscape of college football. His arm talent, pocket presence, and impressive decision-making under pressure signal a promising future beyond Ames. This upcoming season presents a golden opportunity for Becht to silence the doubters and elevate his NFL draft stock significantly. Unlike previous Iowa State quarterbacks, Becht enters a season with a truly formidable arsenal of offensive weapons. The depth and versatility at wide receiver, coupled with talented tight ends and dynamic running backs, provide him with an unprecedented array of options. This allows for a more varied and explosive passing game, showcasing his ability to distribute the ball effectively and make all the necessary throws. With an enhanced supporting cast, Becht will have the chance to demonstrate his full potential, proving that he can thrive in a pass-heavy attack when given the tools. This season isn't just about winning games for Iowa State; it's about Rocco Becht carving out his own narrative as a legitimate NFL quarterback prospect, ready to shine on the biggest stage.
