Kansas City Chiefs FACE Brutal Tight End CUT Dilemma Amid Roster Squeeze?

Kansas City Chiefs face a tight end roster crunch as Jake Briningstool outshines Jared Wiley in preseason battles. With the likelihood of keeping three quarterbacks, can Andy Reid’s squad afford to carry four tight ends, or will draft capital and special teams depth force a tough cut? Chris Clark and Ryan Tracy debate whether Bringinstool’s dynamic receiving skills give him an edge or if the Chiefs’ investment in Wiley will tip the scales. Roster math heats up as the hosts weigh Briningstool’s immediate impact against Wiley’s draft status, alongside broader decisions at defensive tackle, wide receiver, and special teams. Key questions emerge: Could losing Brenningstool to waivers haunt Kansas City? Can either tight end fill Noah Gray’s shoes as a pass-catching threat behind Travis Kelce? Chiefs fans are invited to share who they want in the TE3 or TE4 slot ahead of preseason game number three.
