The LA Chargers Take Joe Alt With the 5th Passing on Top Receivers to Build in the Trenches

Jim Harbaugh and the new Chargers regime have preached building in the trenches and they backed that up taking the top offensive tackle in the class. While Alt improves the offensive line undeniably, Los Angeles could regret passing up on two of the best wide receivers in the class Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze. Dan and David give their first reactions to the first round pick and give some reasons to be excited about the pick. The guys also talk about how Harbaugh wants to build his teams and letting the process play out with a pick that isn’t loved by everyone. After day one there are plenty of really good prospects available as the hosts discuss what’s next for the Chargers entering Day 2 of the draft. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
