The Chargers Should Pick WR Malik Nabers Over TE Brock Bowers With the 5th Overall Pick

Giving Justin Herbert an electric weapon in the first round should be at the top of the Chargers wish list with blue chip weapons available like Malik Nabers and Brock Bowers. Both players would improve the LA offense, but taking Nabers gives the Herbert a legitimate wide receiver one at a huge discount. Dan and David get into why Nabers would be a great selection at 5 and why Brock Bowers is good that he still makes it incredibly close. Bowers is one of the best tight end prospects in recent history and would give the Chargers a versatile playmaker with elite potential. Washington receiver Rome Odunze is another player commonly mocked to Los Angeles and it is easy to see why. Odunze is always open with his contested catch abilities and is a legitimate deep threat, but the guys like him most as a trade back option.
