RECAP: Miami Hurricanes First Spring Football Practice & Early Standouts

Who stood out in the Miami Hurricanes' first spring football practice of 2025? Carson Beck made his Hurricanes debut, but the new starting quarterback is limited after offseason elbow surgery. Head coach Mario Cristobal recently stated he expects Beck to be throwing again in roughly a couple of weeks. Wide receiver JoJo Trader had a great day in drills and so did true freshman wideout Malachi Toney. Another freshman receiver, Joshua Moore, stands out with his size and physical attributes. Host Alex Donno recaps the action from the first practice and also analyzes comments after the session from head coach Mario Cristobal, running back Mark Fletcher, offensive lineman Anez Cooper and linebacker Wesley Bissainthe. Donno takes a look ahead at Miami's upcoming practices and what to watch for.
