ROBBED: Arizona State DOMINATES Texas, Officials Steal College Football Playoff Win in Overtime

The 2024 Peach Bowl between Arizona State and Texas was a thrilling contest that ultimately ended in controversy. Arizona State, despite a strong performance, fell to Texas in a heart-stopping finish. The game was marred by a controversial targeting call that was not flagged by officials. Late in the fourth quarter, with Arizona State mounting a comeback, a hard hit on a Texas receiver appeared to be a clear targeting penalty. However, the officials ruled against the call, allowing Texas to maintain possession. This controversial decision sparked outrage among Arizona State fans and analysts, who argued that it significantly impacted the outcome of the game. Despite this setback, Arizona State showcased their resilience and offensive firepower throughout the game. They mounted a furious comeback, but ultimately, the controversial no-call proved to be a significant turning point in the game. This controversial loss to Texas serves as a bitter reminder of the impact of officiating decisions in high-stakes games. While Arizona State demonstrated their competitive spirit and potential, the controversial no-call overshadowed their performance and left a sour taste in the mouths of many Sun Devils fans.
