UNCOVERED: DJ Lagway ACCUSED Of Being Coach Killer - It's the DUMBEST Narrative in College Football?

DJ Lagway faces unfair blame for Baylor Bears’ coaching changes as wild fan theories swirl—should quarterbacks shoulder so much scrutiny in college football? The conversation focused on Lagway’s journey, recent standout performances, and the narrative linking his presence to the firings of Dave Aranda and Billy Napier. A key theme that emerged was the immense pressure on high-profile quarterbacks in the NCAA era of multimillion-dollar NIL deals.

The discussion explored the chaotic Big 12 landscape with Texas Tech and Iowa State earning “winners” nods and Kansas State and UCF landing among the “losers” after disappointing showings. Looking ahead, potential Dave Aranda replacements are debated—including dream candidate Dabo Swinney and rising favorite Jeff Traylor from UTSA—highlighting the importance of program culture, Texas recruiting ties, and coaching energy. Can Baylor land a transformative head coach to spark a turnaround before their next gridiron battle?
