THE GOAT? Baylor, Houston Star LJ Cryer IS NOT The GOAT, He's Not Even Jared Butler!

Jared Butler's college career at Baylor stands out as superior to LJ Cryer's, primarily due to Butler's all-around impact and leadership during a championship run. Here's why: Championship Leadership: Butler was a key leader on Baylor's 2021 national championship team. His consistent performance and clutch plays were vital to their success. Defensive Prowess: Butler was a significantly better defender than Cryer. His ability to disrupt opposing offenses and create turnovers was a crucial part of Baylor's defensive identity. All-Around Game: Butler excelled in all facets of the game, including scoring, playmaking, and defense. He was a more complete player than Cryer. Consistent Performance: Butler's performance was consistently high throughout his college career, especially during crucial tournament games. National Recognition: Butler earned numerous accolades, including being named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2021 Final Four. Impact on the Program: Butler's presence and leadership helped elevate Baylor's program to national prominence. While Cryer is a talented scorer, Butler's overall impact on Baylor's success, particularly during their championship season, makes him the clearly superior college player.
