BOMBSHELL: Baylor Bears FACE NIL CRISIS as DJ Lagway Deal EXPOSED—Can Dave Aranda COMPETE?

Baylor Bears face a staggering NIL arms race as DJ Lagway arrives at a bargain $2 million price tag—can Baylor keep up with college football’s soaring financial demands? Cam Stuart spotlights how Big 12 teams struggle to match SEC and Big Ten salaries for top quarterback talent, questioning the long-term sustainability of this million-dollar bidding war. The show breaks down position-by-position market rates, Hosea Wheeler’s discount, and the risks of pouring big money into a program still led by underperforming coach Dave Aranda.

Attention shifts to Baylor’s offensive line crisis, with left tackle uncertainties surrounding transfer Cole Rhett and UAB’s Logan Moore sparking major red flags just weeks before kickoff. Stewart scrutinizes the projected O-line starters and shares new insights from coaches and player interviews, then challenges RJ Young’s FBS rankings that place Baylor 79th—behind teams like Colorado and Delaware. Are pundits underestimating Baylor, or does this program face an uphill battle?
