BLUEPRINT: Michigan Basketball's Transfer Portal Strategy EXPOSES Scott Drew's Recent Struggles?

Dusty May lays out the new national championship blueprint, but is Scott Drew and the Baylor Bears’ approach already outdated? Cam Stewart spotlights Michigan’s dominant tournament run with a transfer portal-built roster—four of five starters from major programs—while questioning whether Baylor’s reliance on lower-conference talent can still win titles in today’s ever-evolving college basketball landscape. Should power programs prioritize proven high-major transfers, and is Baylor’s NIL strategy maximizing its potential?

Rob Wright’s ongoing transfer saga raises questions about loyalty and player development, as his journey from Baylor to BYU and back to the portal leaves fans wondering about the long-term impact on both player and program. Stewart also examines the NCAA’s proposed eligibility changes and what a five-year rule could mean for future college stars and the competitive balance in Big 12 basketball. Will the Bears adapt and become title contenders once more, or is a shift in recruiting philosophy needed?
